Please be advised that due to the extreme weather around the Traralgon area, the state of the track was unsuitable for racing.
At 5.30pm, the race meeting was abandoned without any races being conducted.
The safety and welfare of greyhounds and participants is of paramount concern for GRV in assessing whether a race meeting or individual races on a program should proceed, be delayed or abandoned in all weather conditions.
Decisions to cancel the meeting was made after careful consideration and consultation with the weather bureau and the stewards in charge of the Traralgon meeting.
