Message from the Manager

As the Manager of the Traralgon Greyhound Racing Club, I wish to inform all interested parties, the club, in partnership with Greyhound Racing Victoria, have released two separate track de signs for consultation.

The clubs committee have embraced the challenge, working closely with Greyhound Racing Victoria, Greyhound trainers, experts from the Sydney University of Technology and Professor David Allan, to design two track options for consideration.  The priority associated with each proposal is the safety and welfare of the racing greyhound.

We believe both track designs are innovative, in line with industry and community standards and provide a verity of racing for all greyhounds for many years to come.

We thank the GRV Board, CEO Alan Clayton and GRV Senior Executive for their continued support throughout the process.

I urge all participants to view the two proposals on the GRV website and encourage constructive feedback during the consultation period.

In addition to the GRV consultation process there will be an information/feedback session held at Traralgon on Monday the 1st of July at 6.30 pm.
