TRIALS INFORMATION UPDATE

TGRC Office Hours.

Monday – 4 hours before the first race.

Tuesday – 8.30am 4.30pm

Wednesday – 4 hours before the first race.

Thursday – 9.30am – 4.30pm

Friday – 4 Hours before the first race

Weekends Closed unless we have a race meeting

TGRC Trial Information

 

Trials are conducted over 350m, 395m, 450m and 500m Hand slipping is also available over 300m only, upon request from a designated point on the track (No hand slips on race days)

 

If you need assistance to book a trial, please call the club on   5174 2135.

Trial Cancellations must be done through the club only.  5174 2135

 

RACE DAY TRIALS

MONDAYS – TWILIGHT MEETINGS

25 solo Trials – Online only.

SATs / Field Trials – Bookings through the club only.

FT bookings open 8 am Mon

Bookings close 15 min before R1

Trials must be paid by race 1 otherwise they will be cancelled.

 

TUESDAY TRIAL SESSIONS

Pen Trials From 9.30am – 4.45pm

FT Bookings open 8.30am Monday

Tuesday Trials must be paid for online before 8.30am Tuesday morning otherwise they will be cancelled 

 

WEDNESDAY – DAY / TWILIGHT MEETINGS

25 solo Trials – Online only

SATs / Field Trials – Through the club only

FT bookings open 8 am Wednesday

Bookings close 15 min before R1

Effective Monday 13th June 2024

 

Traralgon Trials after a race meeting

 

Changes to booking SOLO TRIALS at Traralgon. All Solo Trials will now be booked online on FastTrack with the session opening at 8am on the same day as the Race meeting, Solo Trials Capped at 25 trials.

 

TRIAL ORDER

 

Satisfactory Trials will always run first.

 

Field Trials over 500m will run first followed by

Solo Trials over 500m run Next

Field Trials over 450m will run first followed by

Solo Trials over 450m run next

Field Trials over 395m will run first followed by

Solo Trials over 395m run next

Field Trials over 350m will run first followed by

solo Trials over 350m run next

 

Trials will continue to be run in order of longest distance to shortest until finished.

 

All satisfactory and fields trials will continue to be booked with the Club on 5174 2135

Please Note:

 

Pen trials, Dogs must wear a muzzle regardless of if they solo trialing. The Club will provide catchers during Tuesday Trial sessions only.

Traralgon Trial Kennels on Race Days/Night.

TGRC have 12 air-conditioned trial kennels that trainers can use on race days.

  • To book a kennel contact the office on (03) 5174 2135 
  • Greyhounds must be kennelled before the end of race night kennelling.
  • The Trial kennel door will be locked until the last race leaves the kennels.
  • Trainers cannot access their greyhound until this time.
  • If your dog makes a mess please clean it up.
