First Traralgon Cup on new track
The Traralgon Greyhound Racing Club will host heats of the Traralgon Cup on its new track at Glenview Park this Saturday night.
The Club re-commenced racing on its new track at Glenview Park on 15 August 2015, and is very excited to conduct the first Traralgon Cup on the new track over the next couple of Saturday nights.
Headline acts for the Cup heats include local star and current Australian Cup winner, Luca Neveelk, who is still racing in fantastic form, and the all conquering Fernando Bale who is heading towards the one million dollar prize money mark.
Both these Greyhounds have collectively amassed close to $1.6 million dollars in prize money for their outstanding achievements on the race track to date.
Club Manager, Hec Caruana, stated the racing on the new track has received high praise from owners, trainers and punters alike, and the Club is very much looking forward to hosting the first Traralgon Cup on the new track over the next couple of weeks.
Hec Caruana also stated the Club is thrilled to attract some high class Greyhounds of the caliber of Luca Neveelk and Fernando Bale to its first Traralgon Cup on the new track, and that all goes well for a terrific Cup series.
The Club will also take the opportunity of officially opening the new track and facilities on Cup Final night, so it promises to be a significant night for the Club in more ways than one.
The Club has already experienced large crowds at the first few race meetings on the new track and expects large attendances to the Cup heats and Final over the next couple of weeks.
