It’s hard to believe the new track at Traralgon has been open for 12 months. In that time we have conducted 105 race meetings and had two Traralgon Cups. Fernado Bale winning the first and Pantera Nera winning the last one. Jesualenko won the very first race on the new track and is the current track record holder over 525m with a scorching time of 29.83 on 23rd April 2016.
Our feature event on Friday 12 August was the New Track Anniversary Final. It was taken out by Bobby’s Baby in a slick time of 30.29 over 525m best on night. This was also our Girls Night Out so it was very fitting that Amy O’Keefe trained this winner. Congratulations Amy and connections $7000 to the winner!
